To connect an AirTag to an iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Ensure Your iPhone is Compatible:
- Make sure your iPhone is running iOS 14.5 or later. You can check and update your iPhone in Settings > General > Software Update.
2. Turn on Bluetooth:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and toggle it on if it's not already.
3. Power on the AirTag:
- Remove the plastic tab from the AirTag to activate it. Once activated, it should make a sound.
4. Open the "Find My" app on iPhone:

6. Name Your AirTag and choose emoji:

7. Register Your AirTag with Your Apple ID:
- The AirTag will be linked to your Apple ID. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete this step.
8. Finish Setup:
- Once registered, tap "Done" on the screen. Your AirTag is now connected and ready to use with the Find My app.
9. Check AirTag in the Find My App:
- Open the Find My app on your iPhone to see your AirTag. You can now locate it on the map, play a sound on it, or use other available features.
